SMS Notifications & Text Messaging

Keenway LLC operates an SMS notification program to keep customers and shipment recipients informed about delivery status updates, pickup confirmations, and live tracking links. This section explains how we collect consent, what messages we send, and how you can opt out.

How We Obtain Your Consent (Opt-In)

SMS notifications are strictly opt-in. Customers explicitly enable SMS alerts through their Keenway account Preferences page at app.gokeenway.com/dashboard/preferences. Separate toggles allow customers to opt in for:

  • My SMS Updates — Status texts sent to the pickup/sender phone number on the shipment.
  • Receiver SMS Updates — Status texts sent to the recipient's delivery phone number, so they know their package is on the way.

No SMS messages are sent unless the customer has explicitly enabled the corresponding toggle in their account preferences.

Types of SMS Messages We Send

  • Shipment Confirmation — Sent when a new shipment is created and confirmed on the platform.
  • Status Updates — Sent when a shipment reaches a new milestone (e.g., Picked Up, In Transit, Out for Delivery).
  • Delivery Confirmation — Sent when a shipment is marked as Delivered, including a link to the tracking page.

All messages include a live tracking link (e.g., https://app.gokeenway.com/track/KW-XXXXX) accessible without login. We do not send marketing, promotional, or spam SMS messages through this program.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on shipment activity. You may receive up to 5–10 messages per active shipment depending on how many status updates occur during the delivery lifecycle.

Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier messaging rates may be charged by your mobile carrier for each SMS received. Keenway LLC does not charge for SMS notifications.

How to Opt Out (STOP)

You can opt out of Keenway SMS notifications at any time using any of the following methods:

Supported Carriers

Keenway SMS notifications are supported by all major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile, US Cellular, and others. Carrier support may vary. Keenway LLC is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages due to carrier issues.

Keenway LLC's SMS program is powered by Twilio, Inc. By opting in to SMS notifications, you acknowledge that your phone number and message data will be processed in accordance with Twilio's privacy policy in addition to this policy.
